Lighted sandlot volleyball and half-court basketball courts offer more choices for exercise and friendly competition. Adjacent to the R. David Thomas Center is the championship Duke University Golf Club, originally designed by the late Robert Trent Jones, legendary golf course architect, and recently renovated by Jones' son, Rees Jones.
